thank you very much for this information sir. I hope puppy mills will be stopped soon, asap especially kanang naa sa robinsons and colon namaligya. inhumane ang treatment and they only do it for a profit. they don't really care about the puppies basta makakwarta. most people would love to have a dog at home, but lack of information boosts these people's puppy mill business. as long as there are buyers, these sellers will continue.

Same to those in pet shops..naka preso ang mga puupy sa gagmay kau na cages display for the entire day hahay

ask lang ko mga master, naa ko 2 purebreed shih tzus ( both 1 year plus) standard type ang male & small(princess) type ang female. ok ra ba ni cla i breed? gamay man gud ang female bcin magkaproblema unya ko kung ma CS. need your advise please. TIA

just sharing MY OPINION: but first, I am not a breeder or selling any dogs.

1. There is nothing wrong with mix breeds. All “pure bred” dogs started out as mix. Generally, they are healthier than pure bred dogs.

2. When breeding for confirmation alone something is lost.

3. There is nothing wrong in buying or selling mix bred or pet grade dogs or dogs without papers when looking for a pet. Labradoodle anyone?

4. Just because a dog has no paper or a mix, does not automatically make a dog unfit for breeding. You just cannot (conformation)show the dog or any of it’s offspring, unless it will be recognized by the whatever kennel club. You can still paticipate in agility and obedience.

5. The aim of a dog breeders is to maintain a breed as closely as the original breeder intended or to breed as closely as the standard of the breed (both are not necessarily the same) but not to improve the breed.

6. One breeder will not greatly impact the breed unless the breeder wins consistently in dogs shows, whose dogs are also being bred by other international breeders. So, dog show judges have more impact on the breed.

7. Dog papers are based on the honor system. There is also someone selling pcci papers for 2k at olx.

8. Sorry, I just cannot believe that reputable breeders don’t make money.

[b]When breeding also , the PUPPY SHARE and STUDFEE should be the least and last priority . Focus on the BLOODLINE sa dogs kung angay ba siya i mate . Take time in looking for the mate , di ka pataka lang ug hamag ... Ah naa kay laki diha ? Naa kay bayi diha ? ... ato unya ipa habal nag heat na akong iro blah blah blah .
