Try daw ni nga procedure from BlueRain. Pwede man daw Win7 nga 64-bit. (success akong root but winxp-32bit ko)

If your phone is rooted then I have a flush-able zip to have your camera tweeked to 8MP and has no shutter sound.

Download the file at

Steps on how to flush.
1. Download the file and save it to your SD Card.
2. Turn off your phone.
3. Go to recovery. (Press Vol UP + Power Button)
4. Select Install zip from sdcard.
5. Select Choose zip from sdcard.
6. Locate and select the file downloaded.
7. After installing, reboot your phone.
8. Done. Thats all.

i can confirm that the blurain method works on 64bit windows PC. mine is 64bit.

Once you've installed PdaNet for android proceed to step 3... ok ra dli nimo ma install ang MTK Driver.. Mao pod na akong gi buhat, and successfully rooted my phone.

Never tried converting it back to original MP kay mas nindot man jud ang 8MP bai.. however pwedi raman cguro jud na ibalik using UOT Kitchen. but like I said, wla naku sulayi ug pabalik sa 5MP / 3.2MP
