i think illegal modifications yung hinuhuli. kaso lang - pina-stop ata to kasi vague ata.

bakit yan yan ang ginagamit nila violation not related naman eh . . hindi naman signal yan. . . at hindi yan HORN ! ! ! my god . . . ang nakita ko sa Accessories violation sa listahan ng LTO ay NO muffler and disconnected muffler lang . . .

that's true. they'd do anything just to get money from us riders.

Im sure illegal modifications is still enforced.
what im aware of is the height requirement - if you put a cigarette in between
the motorcycles, if it will touch the motorcycle then it's too low, therefore illegal modification.
other illegal modification is the color of the lights, the side mirrors and probably very loud mufflers.
tail lights too brights, heavy tinted windows on cars.

mufflers is a bit tricky, sometimes it's ok and sometimes it's not.
Trip trip lang guro nila, but it falls on illegal modifications.
The reason behind too-loud-mufflers is not to distract the traffic and compete with emergency sirens.
Radio on motorcycles also falls on illegal modifications, as long as it's not too loud then it's ok.
If it's too loud that it distracts the emergency sirens then it's illegal modifications.
I read that on one of the CITOM's memorandum.

There's no law against selling and owning these mufflers/accessories/customer parts, but it is illegal to modify your motorcycle.

Ultimately, it's because your motorcycle must have done something to bring a lot attention from the traffic enforcers. So even if other say it's ok, just say no to loud mufflers and avoid the trouble.
Are you really going to try and argue with the officers? wala na dyud ka mahimo except pay the fine or bribe the officer. There's already a pending senate bill against mufflers so just stay away from loud mufflers.

It's still ok for now, trip trip na lang na sa CITOM.

MO LENG !! ana gyud na bro.. Today meron akong nagawa na violation . . nag Left turn ako sa solid line sa harap pa ng CITOM akalain mo hinuli ko of course huhulihin talaga . . . ANG TANONG !!! DI KO nakita na meron SOLID line ! ! kasi nabura na ito . .so is it my fault or sila dapat kasuhan ng LABEL ! ! ! Then tinanong pa sa akin na di daw pwede yong helmet ng MOUNTAIN BIKE ! ! ! di pwede siguro pag STYro Foam but its a FIBer ang mahal ng bili ko non . . . Di yon Ordinaryong Mountain bike helmet. . . .
