Basis lang nako sa cebu, its pretty rare to find a screen thats not affected by this issue ( dli perection basis but no defect jud ) I've seen like 2-3 pa so far, this is why I had my phone refunded.

I think its an engineering limitation sa SAMOLED+ my S1 with SAMOLED screen never had this issue, it even renders grey colors a lot better than any S2 I've seen.

Refunded? You mean you no longer have an S2? So what are you using now?

mas pa tingali ang nokia on their amoled purplish /brownish screen... issue ni sa ilang n8/x7/c7/e7...

Actually Nokia Care fixed the purple tint issue of my previous N8 by replacing the LCD with a new one. Left it one day and got it back the next day free of the purple tint issue.

^^ well.. yeah nokia is obliging to fix /repair the amoled issue on their screen, but what i'm concern with is the new units they're still releasing and selling.

they're aware of fixing it.. but NOT CORRECTING IT. (with the new n8 /e7/x7/c7 batches)

got another question when i transfer a mkv file to my SG2 i get this message " windows explorer has stop working" why is this happening? also when i transfer a avi file it will pop up a box that will let me choose the file to be converted or not.

Unsa imo gamit pag transfer bro? Cable or gamit ka anang Kies air? pero I think naa sa imong computer ang problema. So far wala ko problem sa ako pag transfer bisan unsa nga type of file

i ordered galaxy s2 last monday, wa ku midayon ug palit kay naa gihapun yellow tint issue, ni try ko sa sm cyberzone ganina, 3 ka store akong gi.adto pero naa gihapuy yellow tint. wala jud diay gibuhat na action ang samsung ani??

btw, i discovered a better way to spot a yellow tint... . .

*drop the brightness of the phone below 30%
*go to "calculator" compare 1,4 and 7 na buttons from 3,6 and 9.

Tried the steps you mentioned above pero dili jud ko kita ug yellow tint sa ako-a sg2. Ako ra cellphone nalahi? hehhee

finally, i got my sgsII karon lang jud. Before ko ni bayad, i remembered this post about yellow tint.....i did exactly what you posted here pero wala jud koy nakita nga yellow tint.....basin kayha nalibat lang ko or ambot pero wala jud koy nakita nga yellow tint.

overall, phone is ok. and mas gaan jud compared sa akong DHD

may nalang duha na ta bro nga walay yellow tint nice nakapalit na ka bro. Paliti ug case para medyo mo baga2x then protected pud ang phone. Murag delicate kaayo if walay case

ako pud walay yellow tint hehehe, im using usb cable supplied by samsung. ako gi try sa lain computer mo copy cya pero naa man mu ask if e convert ba nako ang file then if no imo ans mo copy ra gihapon pero nig play walay sound. ana inyo?
