hi guys. ask lang ko ha since isda forum man ni... if ang fish nimo kailangan salt water, dapat jud sa dagat gkan ang water or pwede water then add-an nimo salt? if pwede, in one gallon, unsa kadaghana na salt?

pde man kaw mag himu imu salt mix. pero wa lng ko kibaw kung unsa ang ratio sa salt and water hehe sory. or u can ask sa mga pro.

you can ask alvin about it. then again, problably not. he will give you 30mins lecture on the hardships and sacrifices (drama kaayo, pre) of marine tanks. yaddda yadda yadda, blah blah blah after which you still won't know how much it's gonna set you back. hehehehe

if you go to SM, the saleslady will just ask you to buy a hydrometer to test the salinity of your water and an ehiem filter.. period. and get your water from the sea...

I've never tried saltwater, but i would love to. I think if you do a fish only setup which doesnt require a chiller and expensive lights as one with corals. it won't cost that much.. do some more research. i've seen an office with only an OHF. it works but dunno about if it's long term though.

BTW kung isda ra tanan den so simple rana oi its like freshwater set-up gihapon basta all u need is boracay sand.skimmer.filter. and ur all set..... and saltwater from the sea i recommend na ad2 lng mu ni ryan(riverfront) buy ug saltwater and marine fishes kay wlay cyanide...

ang chiller kay mao nang naay mga live corals mao na kailangan chiller...

it's doesnt have to be from boracay. basta live sand and live rocks.. that's what i heard.. you can get them from our sea. beaches.. I know a marine exporter get their fishes from gatherers from camotes. some from cordova. mas limpyo siguro diri..

@Claire, 10T for the filters lang? wa na labot tank, corals, sand, and rocks? I'd rather go with the freshwater nalang uy

diba kang ryan nga saltwater gikan sa pier? murag mas maayo man tingali kung mag synthetic salt ka. nya ang isda mas maayo sad kung anad na ug synthetic salt and mo feed sad sa ato ipang hatag nga feeds
