In addition to the the instructions, every page comes with a tip to help you become a LEGO designer, not just a builder.

Although the book that came with this provide some whys and hows of building, it isn't really a detailed how-to. I guess nothing beats learning the science of building your own models the hard way, trial and error
LEGO MBA Level One Space Designer Minifigure
According to the book, kits 2 and 3 of Level One have additional accessories for it so it maches the kits' themes
