50mm 1.8 lens shots. post em here!

that picture actually was taken during our pre-valentine celebration sa diamond suite hotel, ang ilang function room didto dim ang light, bati ang quality nga mogawas kong kwaon nimo using ordinary settings, so i had to up my ISO and lower my shutter speed whilst maintaining my aperture to 1.8, 'coz i like my bokeh hehe, kong madala pa dili jud ko mogamit ug flash..

nagbarog ko ana sa iyang tungod while that guy is watching a presentation, focus kyo siya so i took the opportunity to get close to him and tighten the shot para ma tagaan ug emphasis ang expression sa iyang nawng.. so there you go,

i see. IMO, the image is under-exposed and distorted. notice the distortion from the nose going up to the forehead. perhaps effects of the tight shot, which also negates the idea of bokeh.. so i dont see the "sa light rman jud na ug sa composition daugon" ur trying to advocate...

no bro, usa rna sa mga pictures nga akong gi take, it's under-exposed because i had no time to change the settings 'coz the light in the room is not uniform, bright on the other corner and on the other dark, changing settings is not yet that intuitive in my part.. i also shot it in a hurry inorder for me not to miss that very expression that i want to shoot, i was afraid i was gonna miss the shot so i took the chance to just shoot it in a hurry, if usbon pa nko ang aperture para ma focus ug taman or patas-an ang shutter speed para dili mag distort ma miss nko ang shot, u know, worry about it later kay pwede man i Post process.. i just want that very composition that you see, no regrets..

it's not a 5-star image i know hehehe, perhaps ug naay lacking i guess this time sa akoang post processing skills cguro, but i like it just the way it is, just personal preference bro i guess,..

im not trying to advocate something bro, nor am i trying to brag about something as i am not a professional photographer, im happy with my pictures, i know it's much of a cliche but that's also an important thing.. but i want to see what would you have done with my picture as i still have a lot to learn too, i still have the RAW file, i can send it to you if you want, just PM me your e-mail, thanks cheers!

Sa akong pagsabot bro manual imong setting, 4 months ago manual sad ko permi. pero karon aperture priority or shutter. mag manual lang ko basta posing2x with friends kay mausab pa man nako. Pero kun street or party2x aperture priortiy jud ko kay hasol kaau ang manual.

hehe you're right im shooting in manual mode ana bro, hehe personal preference kay naanad ko, sometimes lisud jud i timing ang settings para ma sakto, hehe,. im still trying to figure out aperture and shutter speed priority mode, hehe, try nya ko'g shoot using aperture priority bro, as im having problems jud in terms of focus if mag group shot.,

mao jud mag blur jud ang uban, akong gi huna2 gud nga basin i up ug taman sa akong cam ang ISO, grabe gud ka dim ang light nila didto.. hehe pero magpraktis ko ani tom sa aperture mode hehehe.. thanks, cheers!
