sa sugar beach wala sila resto but pwede mu mangumpra then paluto lang sa caretaker... daghan fish baligya early morning...atang lang mu didto...and duol nga resort dha, kota and budyong, na-a sila resto, affordale ra man pud...but mas okay if daghan mu, paluto na lang...

---Food: Palit ra mi sa gawas, malakaw ra man ang mga tindahan/food stalls from kota. unya nagdala man pud mi ug burner, luto ra mi among breakfast. But naa restaurant sa kota, wa lang mi nisukol kay pagpangutana lang namo da-an sa coke, tag 25? or 30? ba tu, hehe.

Port to Kota: Naa shuttle service ang kota so libre ra.

yes, nindot kaau sa Kota. good for swimming... both day and night. =) nindot pud ang view, breathtaking kaayo.

hi guys! I frequent Bantayan like it's just Mactan-- Tried going there 4 times (all weekends) last August and for this year, I went there like 4 times too.

The last time I went there which was last weeekend, we took The Islands Banca Cruises all the way from Mactan.... It took us less 5 hours and grabeh ang experience! Islands Banca Cruises is a new Pumpboat company wherein you can rent a big ass boat for a minimal amount and the services on deck are terrific! You can buy beer, soda and water from the crew! Where can you buy ice cold drinks in the middle of the sea right? 5 hours going there is just like driving all the way from Mactan.... but this is better coz you already get the feel of the ocean and thats what you've been looking forward to from the start of your trip, right?

On the way there, we passed by Sogod and we saw a pod of Risso's Dolphins!!! Truly Magnificent!! And accdg to the net, dolphins sightings in this area only happens by CHANCE!

We always stay @ Budjong Beach Resort (0923.3314.367, contact Vina) every time we go to Bantayan coz for us it is the best resort in the island--- not only its affordable but the beach in front of the resort is just so perfect. Plus currently, for the summer, there is a floating bar right in front of Yoonek.... very very cool!

@entrepreneur101: Mao! Kapoy gyud drive oi! Kuyaw pa gyud ang mga buses hahahaha.... Regarding your query, There will be scheduled trips to Bantayan and all the other Islands soon.

Will post a new thread once the schedules and all other details are final.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did!
