so godsaint now KNOWS what Trillanes is actually thinking and what he'll actually do IF he succeeded. However, somebody else said here that nobody can be certain of what will happen but godsaint here seems to know.

Trillanes is a braggart and a two-faced hypocrite. For a moment, he worships the Constitution by invoking his “mandate as protector of the people” and, later on, offends the same constitution by “making the step of removing Gloria Arroyo from the presidency.”

Do you really, really think he'll respect the Constitution by "giving" the power he will have grabbed to somebody else if he had been successful? Do we really think he'll show respect to the Constitution he has time and again violated? Can he really be trusted?

I dont know why people keep on draggin the issue of Trillanes taking over the presidency, if he succeded in overthrowing Gloria.Thats impossible!We have a law that in case of a military take over,or a succesful coup,the Chief justice will be the caretaker of the govt.until such time that we can have a legitimate succesor to the presidency.i dont think i have heard it happen in some countries.we are not in the primitive time where the strong becomes the ruler.we are and whatever happens must obey the mandate our constitution.

I'm trying to understand here. unsa man diay pasabot nimo ani nga statement? You said you don't know why people keep on dragging the issue of Trillanes taking over the presidency if he succeeded in overthrowing Gloria and you say with confidence that he won't, that he will not take over the seat of power and that it's impossible and now you say Nobody knows. Unsa man jud? Impossible man kaha, nganong nobody knows naman sad?

to be honest, trillanes is only capitalizing on his good looks to get attention. if this were any other ordinary looking soldier, he wouldn't even get into a political party during the last elections and eventually win a seat in the senate. sad to say but many filipinos vote for the lamest of reasons. trillanes just made the filipinos realize that they made a mistake in electing him. he must have forgotten that his task as a senator is not to stage rebellions against the government. and another thing, he even has the nerve of telling the media that they surrendered because they were concerned about the media people's welfare during the teargas and invasion of manila pen. it was actually their fault why civilians were endangered in the first place. why does he even think that he can get away with stopping the operations of a 5 star hotel and then barricading the place and locking everyone in and preventing others from entering. it's good that manila pen is taking the necessary legal action against those responsible. if he really has grievances against the administration, he should do it in a way that it would not prejudice parties who are not involved in any way in his perceived "conflict" with the government, because if he keeps on being like this, he's no different from a terrorist because terrorists endanger the lives of innocent people in order to get their message across. trillanes is a misguided, irrational coward and it seems that he is only a puppet in all of this...
