    New name atop Yahoo! rankings

    The man who sat atop the Yahoo! Sports boxing rankings since the poll was instituted in August has retired at the top of his game.

    But one former opponent said Floyd Mayweather Jr. wasn’t necessarily all he was cracked up to be.

    Oscar De La Hoya, who once was briefly regarded by some as the world’s best fighter, said he didn’t think Mayweather was as good as he thought he would be when they met May 5, 2007.

    this is to rate whos the best boxers regardless of weight. we have to be proud that manny made it to the number 1 spot, but he was already consistent no.2 pound for pound since 2007.

    i feel mayweather gets too much hype. yes he's a great boxer but he has much to prove pa..
    gusto rani mu retire to keep his record clean. kanang 50-0 na stat kay bow ko ana. di na malalis.
    hapit na si Joe Calzaghe who is 45-0. IMHO lang.
