Actually true faith itself is an extra ordinary work! It's like getting your cloths on using the power of the mind, its a thousand times more difficult than doing the actual thing!

Kani, kriminal, walay good work, faith ra naa. Syempre pag muingon tag kriminal ang iyang nabuhat nganung nahimong kriminal siya kay sukwahi sa balaod sa tao ug sa Ginoo. Luwas man lagi siya?

    Luke 23:32-43
    New International Version (NIV)
32 Two other men, both criminals, were also led out with him to be executed. 33 When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals—one on his right, the other on his left. 34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”[a] And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

35 The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.”

36 The soldiers also came up and mocked him. They offered him wine vinegar 37 and said, “If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself.”

38 There was a written notice above him, which read: this is the king of the jews.

39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him: “Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself and us!”

40 But the other criminal rebuked him. “Don’t you fear God,” he said, “since you are under the same sentence? 41 We are punished justly, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong.”

42 Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.[b]”

43 Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”

Maluwas ba ko kung nitoo lang sa Ginoo then ang akong works kay sukwahi sa balaod sa Ginoo?

    Psalm 51:17
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise

kung naa pa toy chance mabuhi ang criminal bro..siguradong magbaha ang goodworks ato..
if you read earlier posts..you might find your answers..where faith alone can change our wrongdoings to good works
imprisoned spirit to freedom and from damned to saved.

try realting to this, if you're a man of faith, you can't help yourself but burst into plans of goodworks
some would actually be able to pull it off..but everyone else can do good works not out of faith..wherein it might fall to business..

kung muingun ang usa ka tao nga faith ra pud and wala nay good works...
that's kind'a odd 'cause good works is a result of faith..

like when you say that you love your wife,of course you would supplicate it with actions..
ingun pa nila..actions speaks louder than words...
and again going back sa criminal
the Lord would never reject true repentance...if the criminal had the chance to live longer...
he might be one of the greatest apostles...
may unta ug inig declare nato whole heartedly nga motoo tas Ginoo mamatay ta dayun parehas sa kriminal..hehehe
heart and actions are inseperable bro..i'm sure you know what i mean..

Faith (can give you COURAGE and DETERMINATION)
from what I understand (from a GAMER'S point of view)
it's a positive buff that can make you stronger
so you need to do something in order make use of what GOD has given you.
It's like a friends pushing your back so that you can speak to your crush.
So GOD have given you the push and it's really up to you, if you make use of it or not. It's your decision.

God looks at the heart bro, and God invites us to trust in Him..
His invitation may come in different forms ..any good work that can bring us to salvation
should start with faith..so regarding sa criminal, para lang nako..
God looked at the pureness of his heart when He declared that Jesus is Lord.
and Jesus would know if that declaration was lip service or from the heart..
kung good works ang basehan, murag lisud2x to maluwas ang criminal..hehehe
actually it applies to all of us...if goodworks ang basehan sa atong kaluwasan..lagmit ug naay maluwas nato..hehehe
only faith can make us do what is impossible for man bro...

"i can do all things in Christ who strengthens me"
    Philippians 4:13

So naluwas ang kriminal tungod sa iyang faith and not by his works? So okay ra ang faith bisan way good works arun maluwas?

    John 3:16
    New International Version (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

it's a case to case basis bro, like the exapmle earlier..if mamatay naka after you profess your faith...
chances are maluwas ka.and at the brink of death you would accept Jesus just because your dying and not by faith...ambut lang pud..and it's ironic to profess something that you believed in and your actions will not coincide...
and if you would qoute john 3:16..whoever BELIEVES......it doesn't mean literally believe bro...
if you believe in something,it must be suplicated with ACTIONS..
one way of showing taht you have faith is through Your actions...
do you believe that Jesus is Lord? if your answer is Yes...of course it should be seen in your actions...
and do you llove your neighbor as yourself? if your answer is again Yes...kahibaw naka unsay sunod..hehehe...

going back sa earlier nga example..if a husband says he loves his wife...but somehow
cge gihapun siya ug pangabit...ang ending is separation gihapun...

if i would say nga motoo kog Ginoo but akong buhat wala nagpamatuod sa akong gisulti...
ambut lang ug asa ko padung...

seriously bro..with the divine faith....no one can stand but burst into compassion and love for others...

I agree.. Kai wla may mahimo kung cgeg kang ingon I BELIEVE IN GOD and you keep doing evil deeds.
It's what you do, not in what you say.

ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS,, as they say so there !!
