The pictures look great. Who owns sumilon island by the way? Is it part of Cebu or Negros?
Porbiden, how many resorts are there? Is the lighthouse still there?

Sumilon Island is a fascinating discovery for the environmentalist and nature lover. It is the country's first marine reserve where nature reigns supreme.

Lying in the midst of crystal-clear waters, the island features lush vegetation, a pristine lake, a stretch of shifting white sandbar and one of the best dive spots in the Visayas. Only 15 minutes away by pumpboat from the town of Oslob, Sumilon is a 24-hectare island near the southeastern tip of Cebu.

Sumilon is breathtakingly beautiful - an unspoilt bed of nature's bounty in terrestrial and marine flora and fauna. It is paradise to scuba divers, with its large coral colonies, shallow channels and hundreds of species of tropical fish and other marine attractions. History buffs, on the other hand are sure to marvel over the ruins of an ancient Spanish watch tower designed to spot approaching marauders of old.

I am from Oslob! But wa pa jud ko kaabot sa Sumilon coz Im afraid to travel thru the sea. Duol ra kaau na sa amoa.
Ok ra sad if inviton ko ninyo if moad2 mo pra makalaag sad ko did2...hehehe. Naa man sad mi pumpboat para pag-ad2 did2, ingon sa ako mga neighbors, nice jud daw.
