Nike 4 life.... never sprained ankle in em when I played ball. Sorry but the brands that were named after a human being named Adi Dassler, after an animal (reebok), basketball cliche (And1) and etc...will always be 2nd rate to a brand named after the winged goddess of victory, by the way Nikos is latin for victory.
They also have the most innovative designs and are not afraid to put push the envelope coupled with a marketing juggernaut that makes them one of the most recognized brands worldwide. Them getting a lot of top athletes is a testament to to this and not to mention that a lot of shoes that are very expensive in terms of collectors' value are with Nike...a good example would be original Air Jordans esp the 1st few models.
Oh yeah jsut bought the Air Hurrache 2k6 TR in black n gray...

It's up to you....but it does give a nice psychological edge. Adidas is classic brand but unfortunately they can't compete with the swoosh, this is in terms of their revenues and designs. Unfortunately the times I wore adidas in my years in playing ball I got nothing but uncomfort and sprained ankles. Their adiprene doesn't compare with cushioning of Zoom Air, Air Max and etc ....A3 ? oh pleeze they're bulky compared to Shox...such a shame they copied the idea from Nike too.

before ko ni graduate pag college, i'm used to have nike shoes.
Now nga naa nako trabaho, adidas ang akong fave. I have 2 adidas shoes, sandals, 2 bags, 3 t-shits, 1 polo shirt, and 1 polo.
Nike dali maguba . . .
