Oo Bro. Best place to shoot sunset since its direct to the sunset. I consider this as my best shot so far, it's like shooting from the hip since the sun was almost down when I got there with little time to find the best position. This is one of the occasion that I appreciated the U1 and U2 feature of the D600. My sunset setting has been programmed already and I just had to quickly set up the tripod and filters and take some shots.

my best so far in star trail photography....wala ko gagamit og intervalometer ani, 1 image rani siya mao wala gyud nako nakuha ang full rotation sa star trails...

kung kani ra sa akong pic, gagamit kog tripod para walay camera shakes.. ky para makuha nimo ang star trail ky dapat mag long exposure gyud ka ..nya Bulb mode para maka set ko og longer exposure nya gamit ko og wired shutter release para avoid og camera shake..1060 sec or around 17mins exposure ni siya...try lang og check sa imo camera specs kung kaya ba niya og longer exposure kay basi mo over heat ang imong sensor.......basically long exposure ra gyud ni siya...just click the EXIF link for more details

need gyud ka og intervalometer para mo automatic og take og multiple long exposure na picutres nya imo nalang i image stacking using photoshop or other image stacking softwares.

ang earth ang mo rotate..hehehe..so naa man ta sa earth so ang tan-aw nato ang stars ang ni rotate pero ang earth diay to..so mao na ang amount sa rotation sa earth within 17mins...hehhehe....

Yah I see it. Maybe if pabuntagan jud ni, taas-taas na jud ang rays ana. Try ko na unya, climb man mi sa busay (chalet) ron, try ko ana bro, try pud ko light painting. excited nako, heheheh

ah ok ok...post nya dayon deri..heehhe..pero murag daghan og light pollution sa chalet kay duol sa city, dili kaau maklaro ang mga stars..nya kung hayag sad ang buwan....mas nindot kung didto sa manunggal nya northern sky ang imong shootan nya i center lang ang Polaris (the northern star) sa imong image..or sa O peak nice sad didto makuha sad nimo ang milky way sa my southern sky dapit..sa O peak nah nako gi shoot..
