In the call center (and this I know for sure because I worked with them for advertising), they don't need your diploma for you to work with them BUT you need one if you want to become a supervisor.

Besides, with the new K-12 educational alteration, college degree would just be optional rather than highly encouraged.

Any inputs, suggestions, opinion or bisag unsa. Bsta dili lang binuang would highly be appreciated.

you don't need a degree to be successful in life BUT you do need the learning you get from college to be even more successful.

if tinu-od pa na inyo gi ingon nga dili needed ang degree, why do the filthy rich Chinese send their kids to school and earn their degree? They have their own business and yet why do their kids still go to school? Its because of the learning. Its not the paper alone that makes the difference but it is what goes into your head and stays there which you can use later on.

when we get employed by any company, we should see that as a learning experience and not just a source of income. almost all of my Chinese friends who are filthy rich went to school, got employed by regular companies for some time, then eventually went on to setup their own business.

this is the big difference between the Chinese mentality and Filipino mentality.

The Chinese go to school for the learning, work to gain the experience, and use that experience later on in their businesses.

The Filipinos on the other hand go to school for the diploma, to get a good job that would provide for their needs, and die as a worker.

Luck, for me, is when preparation meets opportunity. It is true that quite a number of people have successful business due to their hardwork and diligence, but ask them, will they send their kids to college? ask them why and you would get a little enlightenment. Im sure there would only be a rare instance where that successful business owner would NOT send his/her kids to school.
