It's just a part of marriage. Although in marriages, dili man mamugos ang bana, it's the women who "physically" give in but their "hearts" are not in it. It's compromise. After all, men do get dragged to the malls and have to endure hours of shopping torture, only to be tricked into answering the $60 million question: Does this dress make me look fat?

When women give in even if their eart is not in it, that's compromise.
But when a woman gives in because there has been a history of violence against her and she knows if she doesn't spread her legs, she might get battered or she is already at that moment being assaulted, that is rape.

Two very different scenarios.
