Not all conservatives automatically despise change or are overreacting for the sake of just feeling "holier than thou". Most conservatives are reactionary because they think in a broader sense (ie. not only as individuals but as a family and community). Then there's the parents' "What-if my daughter or my son?" question. We want gradual change so its effects can be examined further not just implement so-called new ideas, new laws immediately into the system and cause social upheaval and more taxpayers money down the drain.
Do you think the medical expenses that will be used to pay for those protitutes are free? No. That is where our taxes go. That's how welfare state functions.
Just read about prostitution in the Netherlands where prostitution is legal and regulated. Its become the bastion for human-trafficking and child-prostitution run by crime lords who have become sort-of untouchables since its decriminalization.
Do we really want this?
For years, the brothels’ large street-side windows have showcased women of all races, wearing minute bits of clothing as they preened and beckoned customers. But in some windows, women have recently been replaced by plastic mannequins in designer clothes.
What may appear to be a new form of street theater is, instead, the most visible sign of an ambitious new gentrification plan that may take years to complete. The city council has voted to clean up the historic but notorious district, which has become bloated with expanding sleaze. The city is buying up brothels, and it has lent the first 18 windows and boudoirs for one year to young designers and photographers.
The elders of the Dutch capital, long known for its broad-mindedness, insist they have not been seized by a wave of prudishness. They say there is new evidence that criminal gangs, including East Europeans and Russians, have encroached on the area, making it meaner, more violent and more in the grip of the underworld of international *** traffickers...
...When the Dutch government legalized prostitution in 2000, it was to protect the women by giving them work permits, but authorities now fear that this business is out of control: "We’ve realized this is no longer about small-scale entrepreneurs, but that big crime organizations are involved here in trafficking women, drugs, killings and other criminal activities", said Job Cohen, the former mayor of Amsterdam.

I doubt that the church would approve pero na approve raman sa laing country so wa ta kabaw diba? Hehe
Grabe ra pud kaayo ni nahitabo sa Nietherland, open ra kaayo sa public. What I mean is a restricted place nga dli pwede maka sulod mga minors aging 18 below, only customers are allowed to enter. If moadto ka sa place then ma micture lang ka sa mga chix, dli pud na pwede, naa gihapon na sila privacy... If they really want this type of job, they have accept the reality they are a great sinners of what the society thinking of them. There must be a separation between the church and the state.. Vatican City is the most holly place but outside the Vatican City, a lot of Red light district were located.
OT lang: I prefer to help person in need than to donate in a church. Or If I win a grand price in lotto, I prefer to build a home for the homeless brothers and sisters than to donate it in a church... I don't really know where the money of the church goes to and besides they are exempted of the taxes... ha..ha.. thats how powerful the church is, manghilabot na gud na mga pari sa politics.. I'm not religious but I believe in God. I'm also a Roman Catholic.
