when we speak of k800i, it is more on pictures... dili kaayu siya sa walkman type. di ba kabantay mo sa ericsson kung quality photos gani, mag start ang unit of K while ang walkman is W?

But i prefer N73 Music Edition kay mas maayu og quality sa pictures, plus naa pa 2GB of mini SD memory card. I own an N73 music edition because I am more into music than taking pictures...

i also own an N73ME. reason is for both music and pictures. which the unit can do superbly! ang dili lang nako ganahan is ang kahuot sa keypads.... but otherwise i'll give a rating of 10/10 for N73 usage and pricewise.

^^^ Oh shite! I need to switch to Smart! How fast is the connection? Is it HSDPA or 3G speed? 20 per hour? are you serious? that would definitely blow globe's plan to smithereens!

its the common GPRS and can go burst up to 171.2kbps, although realistic speed is 56k depending on the handset used. but i find it way far faster than a 56k dial-up internet, maybe this N73 is capable more than 56k?sweet... although, its only plain surfing. flash and shockwaves websites which are vast and common now are no no. and only limited to few streamings. most java based sites are unrecognized, i dont know why where Nokia has java inside^^ but still a pocket plain internet surfer for a very cheap P20 per hour! very useful for email emergencies when one cant find an internet cafe in a far provincial area =)

Okay, I tried it tonight. But I gotta say it disappointed me a bit. It was too slow for me to appreciate. Globe's EDGE connection was way faster the last time I used it, even though it charges much per kb. Though, Smart's mobile internet should be helpful when you need to check something online quick(figuratively speaking) or that email on the go.

Yeah, actually EDGE is 3 times faster than General Packet Radio Service that is why you had felt it, its the next generation of Data Service of GSM =) So that would be around 300kbps-513kbps burst. And besides, we are used to Desktops or Internet Cafes with DSL connections that have lightning speeds nowadays =) But as for a pocket internet surfer, its way faster than a 56k dial-up =) I have noticed also, in early morning, the connection is faster than in the eve.

By the way, how much is the rate of EDGE in Globe bro?

Great phone you got there =) I really love the big screen of this Nokia N73, but quite sleek =) It kicks off Internet Surfing! =P
