hey mga pips, any feedback on the Fortuner 2.7 VVTi? just noticed that most of them Fortuners plying our streets are diesel variants. what gives? are all these guys travelling more than 10k odo per year? since that's the arbitrary limit where you gain fuel savings with diesel engines vs gas counterpart. not to mention, crdi's more tender loving care maintenance and higher PMS cost.

TS ang ako ika advice kay kia sportage MT 2WD for just P988k naa naka SUV with 166hp - pwerte kusoga mo kadlit ana manual pa gyud. So far sa market karon wala pa ko kita ug below 1M nga SUV nga brand new maski gasoline engine pa. Nindot pod ug ride and comfort ang kia sportage kay tungod sa independent suspensions and front wheel drive and wala nag gamit ug leaf spring. for just 2.0cc engine and at 166hp tipid na kau na kay most SUV from other brands especially japanese brands are all 2.5cc and above with less hp.

Crossover SUV: CRV, CX-5, Tucson, Sportage, Forester, XV, Escape, X-trail, Sorento, Sta Fe, SX4

Ladder Frame SUV: Fortuner, Everest, Trailblazer, Monterosport, Grand Vitara, Jimny (less than 1M)

You can try narrowing it down to your top 3 attributes e.g. 7 seats, diesel, manual.

Most reviews say CX-5 fun to drive. Personally don't like it.

a friend has a tucson gls 2WD AT. IMO, bang for the buck amongst the tucson variants. if you drive for less than 24k km annually and you don't need the 4X4, i'd get the gas variant. if diesel, go for the TOTL na lang.
