Question: What is beauty?

Answer: It's really a matter of perception, opinion and preferences. And we're free to have them or share them if we care to. We're free to use them (or abuse them) for good or ill. Perceptions can change or be twisted. Opinions can sway or give offense. Preferences can lead to discrimination.

Question: Is beauty worth all the fuss?

Answer: Really a matter of opinion. I have mine. You have yours.

I appeal for a reconsideration.

For what its worth; I do not object to people sharing their ideas, on who is beautiful or who is handsome or what beauty generally is or should be, in this is a public forum, as long as the posters respect the forum rules and others' opinions, its okay.

We might agree on some and we might disagree with others. It is okay, that's the way things are and I feel that we should accept that how "differences" work. It's not really a big deal unless you or I feel it is.

Besides the truly beautiful (however you may define it, up to you) people wouldn't complain about it much.

Gwapa / Gwapo ?

hey guys, let's get real here.. do you really think people in iSTORYA who DON'T belong in the "Gwapa / Gwapo category" get offended easily do they really care I don't think so...

imagine this, since birth, let's say twenty some-odd years they've been waking up each morning looking at their homely faces in the mirror, they've been teased around about their looks since birth... and you guys are telling me you're worried about THEIR well-being. tsk tsk tsk - they're more battle tested than that.

heckling? backbiting? or what have you.. they've been thru all that. that's a daily occurrence in their lives since elementary and high school, same goes during college. what about at the workplace? or maybe just about every public places they go to in a daily basis.. that alone would make their iSTORYA experience seem like a walk in the park don't you think?

I think a forum like iSTORYA pales in comparison as far as "negative" personal life experiences go with regards to looks or the LACK thereof for those aforementioned people.

if you guys think that iSTORYANs excluded / not mentioned in the Gwapa / Gwapo thread gives a rats behind if they don't make it on that list, you're all gravely mistaken.
