The Lakers and Celtics Franchise.

However a franchise is not a team.

The Lakers' team during the time of Magic is not the same Team sa time ni Shaq and Kobe. They are in the same franchise but they are not the same team.. every year a team changes.. the members of this season's team is different from last season's so that's a different team technically but the same franchise.

The Celtics and the Lakers are the best franchises in history because of the number of Championships they have won, but the Bulls '96 team is the best in history because of the 72-10 season record and winning the NBA Chapionship that year as well.

The mid 90s had at least 2 dominant players on each team and had more HOFs than you can count with your fingers. The 90s saw the best centers and power forwards assembled in NBA history--to think the Bulls didn't even have a good center and lost only ten times. Look at the tapes on YouTube. So much hype is centered around the Big 3 of Jordan, Pippen and Rodman, that not too many people realize just how good their bench was. And the East was loaded, too many people forget Ewing's stacked Knicks, a championship-caliber team.

The Showtime Lakers were a great team, probably the best along with the 86 Celtics, but to take away from the Bulls' 72-10 accomplishment, calling them overrated is retarded.
