Hmm... I wonder how financially feasible is this.
MRT fare here in Manila (North Edsa to Taft), that's roughly the same stretch from Colon to Minglanilla from end to end is 15 pesos. But the government cofers are bleeding, coz they are subsidizing the real cost which is supposed to be around 60 a trip. Just a thought, maybe an alternative is to create other road networks like the SRP, without the politics involved. Hehehe
nindot gyud ni kong madayon. kinahanglan gyud ta ug mass transit system aside from the jeeps and taxis, clogged na kaayo atong mga streets.
naa lang kuy doubt ba..!! ka gagmay baya sa atong mga highway dire asa mana nila ipamasok ang railing systerm sa maong proposed lrt or mrt nila??
^^
If it's going to be an elevated railway system then no problem bro.. N.Bacalso Avenue in south is roughly 6-8 lanes, P.Del Rosario is around 4 lanes, the widened road going to Carreta is around 6-8 lanes too... And no problem too in Highway, Mandaue City because the roads there are wide enough...
i would still prefer it to be subway system (wishful thinking). elevated railway would be an eyesore like in manila. it's like a concrete jungle.
yeah, a subway would be cool but i think they should really work on the drainage. on the other hand, an elevated railway wouldn't be too bad i think, IF it's maintained really well.![]()

Maybe they can do an LRT Line 2 (the one in Markina) sort of thing where in the tracks are located off road, crossing rice fields and all. Instead of the main highways. Anyway, there are other means to solve the traffic problem. Build alternative roads for once. =)
Hello guys!
I think this is part of the Cebu Master Plan...
