Is Mindanao Really a Scary Region?

I'm from Mindanao, i can only speak for my city since that is where i was born, BXU to be exact. its a peaceful city pero the older folks will always tell me ayaw lang pagpa gabii sa mga outskirts of town like the beach, which makes a lot of sense.

i grew up in mindanao.. ozamiz city kaayo.. wa may hadlok didto oi.. istorya lang na nila nga scarry ang mindanao, been to other place sad sa mindanao, way kurat oi, parehas ra jud..

i think ang gubot sa mindanao kay kana ra Cotabato, and some small and isolated areas.

Gipa exaggerate langna sa media nga gubot jud ang mindanao. I've been in Cagayan, Bukidnon and Davao... Davao is a nice and safe place...

Exaggerated lang kaayo sa media ang mga happenings sa Mindanao but generally, it's really happening all over the country.

dili tibuuk mindanao ang gubot... there are areas that are really scarry to visit but generally Mindanao is peaceful... Gi-sensationalize lang na ang estorya mao gubot ang image sa Mindanao... mas kuyaw pa ang colon suroyan compared sa ubang areas sa Mindanao...

Camiguin is one of the safest place in Mindanao, if not the safest. The yearly panaad event during holy week manifests how safe and peaceful is the place...
