soccer kay mas sikat tanan nasud except sa america kay basketball ug american football ila ganahan jud..
morag kita ra jud ni sunod sa america nga hilig sa basketball..xd
today's game support that we really need a high standard stadium...
we lose again 0-1
Opinion lang ni nako... pero I find football/soccer fun to play pero boring to watch... whereas basketball is fun to play and a more entertaining sport.
I cannot imagine Filipinos lining up to pay and watch a soccer game in a local league here in the country. Maybe people will get interested in soccer once national pride is at stake pero for local competition i doubt it.
If the country is to build a stadium, might as well make it into a sports complex to house other sports such as those found in the olympics... why stop on soccer alone when the opportunity to improve the other sports is there with a new stadium / sports complex.

^^hahaha. i agree. mas daghan pa og audience ang basketball kysa sa soccer.
The reality is economics and money dictate sports. Often, the most funded sports programs are those that generate the most viewers, endorsements and return on investments.
Investing in an arena is only part of the solution. Whatever sport that is to be introduced has to be loved by people for them to want to play it or watch it. This will naturally result in sponsorships and endorsements from corporate entities and advertisement revenue from tv networks covering the games.
bitaw!!! para daghan ang moapil or mainggaño sa dagdag nga sports which is ang football
wala man gud tay venue para sports anah...
BUT?!!! we are in the middle of crisis...
