    @SysTatoyNY: naa pud gi pang post na good points ang mga posters to iComm company and gikan na uban mismo na naka worked sa company. Dili na nimo malikayan ang uban posters na mo comment sa ilang bad experiences. Nice sad imong oberservation na a certain specific person ang nahimo og topic sa thread dili na about the company, but again mao mana ilang na experienced and mao pud na ilang gi share diri. I guess majority of the posters didn't meant to destroy the credibility of iComm but only to share those experiences they have with the company. Mura bitaw ikaw, nice imong experience working with the company but it doesn't go for the others.

    If una ka ni resign nako aw ok pa gyud to..hehehe.. PTS ni exists gihapon but dili parehas sa una. I think kahibalo ka about the PTS issues ..hihihihi

    Ako when I stayed in iComm, pag naka feel nako murag wala nako kasabot sa dagan sa iComm that time and wala sad gyud gi buhat ang company sa mga concerns sa monthly meeting, nangita ko og lain work oi syodi antos kung dili ka angay. (and i think kahibalo ka ana @SysTatoyNY) Then pag resign nako naa pud ni sunod, and same mi og rason kay walay flextime and among gi balhinan na company naay flextime then ni action dayon ang iComm management na mag flextime sila. Nalipay ko ato pag naka hibalo ko at least naa sila gi buhat pero it was too late for me and sa kadtong ni sunod og resign but it was worth it sa na bilin.

    In General, wala man perfect na company but it could be better kung pasabton og tarong ang mga tao kay sa sige lang nimo e-lead og false hope.

    Wala perfect na rank n file, kay naa pud uban rank n file feeling nila maayo na kaayo sila but in the end ba-nga gihapon diay..hihihi.. bitaw tinood na. Uban rank n file cge reklamo sa ilang boss, but dili sila maka sulti directly sa ilang boss kung unsa ilang problema..

    Wala perfect na boss, but it could be better if mo show og care ang boss sa ilang mga tao in terms of checking on how they do in the company and unsa ilang problema. A good example kana mag overtime ang mga tao and wala ang boss, or bali wala ra ang boss iya ra gi pa trabaho ang iyang mga tao. Mas nindot unta kung ang boss bisag mo followup kung unsa bay problema/concerns during the overtime period. Naa uban boss naka mindset na ang ilang tao mo duol kung naay problema, i tell you dili tanan tao ingon ana. Rank n file have fears na ma terminate sila kung mo reklamo sila or dili sila ma regular. Mao na mis maayo gyud ang boss mo ask sa iyang tao for the concerns.

    @mongol: again its your choice not ours, sama sa gi sulti sa previous post kung ang icomm ra ang makahatag nimo og trabaho and kung kailangan naka og trabaho then dawata.

    Hi Mongol & all other Icomm aspirants…

    Let me put it this way. Icomm was a promising company. I did my best to surpass everything including the 3-month-agency, 6-months-probationary contracts. I tried to do everything I could, helped every people in our department, CSC, Sales, I-Direct, everyone that asked for my help – I tried my best to please them all. Within the first year of my employment, I was never late or absent (it was even before they gave a price for perfect attendance). Sometimes I would even extend up to 8 hrs. more just to finish urgent tasks assigned. I was trained for just a week then left to work alone with just e-mails & occasional msn from the managers to guide me. Used my analytical skills to learn since the “reasonable standards” mentioned in the employment contract was not attached accordingly. In short, everyone could be subjected to disciplinary action even before you know the rules mentioned because you signed such a contract. Thus in there, it’s more like learning from your mistakes. For me, it’s just okay if it’s not filed in your 201 file and be considered in your performance evaluation that would eventually affect your compensation adjustment. Evaluation time, for some, is not that good either when you are evaluated for things that you failed to do because your time won’t even be enough to do this one task assigned to you.

    As per SSS law, maternity benefits are supposed to be advanced to the employee on the first day of the maternity leave so that the money could be used in the hospital expenses. My friend got her check after the christening of her baby, a few days after she was made to sign the company’s reimbursement form saying that the money was advanced to her. In sickness cases, when philhealth forms are not processed on-time of your discharge, the benefits department would calmly say that you just have to pay all the bills and just process for philhealth refund later and God knows how fast would that be. Maybe you and your patient would eat dust for a month first before you got your check. If this does not apply to all employees in Icomm then it’s vivid that favoritism exists there and either way, it does not sound healthy.

    One of my friends was reported sleeping for 5 hours and the time reported was wrong. She showed the manager some sent items from her mailbox in those hours mentioned. Once, all the people in my shift caught the reporting supervisor sleeping and we asked the guard to see for himself and record the time. Then he reported to HR/Admin Department (admin manager and the so-called supervisor are quite close) and the poor guard was interrogated as to who made him record the time of the offense (an amazing question since we all noticed beforehand that the guard holds a record of the time we go out to pee, eat or even just get water from the pantry). So the camera was installed to verify the charges. Of course, it was made known to all so the supervisor never slept that long again (hope so) or the subordinates would think that it’s one of supervisors’ privileges to sleep longer than what is announced to be allowed.

    It’s not just because I don’t like one or two persons that I speak of all these type of shit, it’s because these persons are holding good positions in the company and aspirants should be made aware of before they make their entrance and get ready for the inevitable. If you don’t have any other choices yet, just go there but beware of these people. Don’t dare disagree with anyone of them. In short, deny yourself, carry the cross and follow God. Liking them is no question, but if the feeling is not mutual, learn to take cover or get out as fast as you could.

    Icomm has good and bad side… ana gyud tanan companies. Wala'y perfect! Pero kamo nga naka-gawas na diri, kung nindot tanan inyo na expe here, then GOOD!
