    1. Had my JDM pajero timing belt replaced there recently. It went well and I was elated with the result. receipts of the new timing belt and other accessory parts were given to me.

    2. Had my aircon and leaking power steering fluid fixed there as well. i let them buy a (not denso) pajero surplus A/C compressor for 4,600 and a surplus pajero power steering gear box for 3,000. i could sensed them having difficulties as regards troubleshooting of the power-steering problem as it took them 3 days to finally find the solution.

At the end of the day, i was made to pay 11,300t, but this time no receipt covering the surplus compressor or the gearbox was given, much less shown. The only compliment was the 200-peso discount and the loading of the replaced parts to my pajero.

Now, A/C is a bit colder but not as cold as i expected. power steering of my pajero became smoother than it was when first used.

By and large, i am satisfied with what NOECOR had done to my ride albeit a bit skeptical when it comes to the prices of the surplus parts.

    Question:

Were the prices of the surplus parts mentioned above jacked-up or not?

I think it is fair enough for the price of your gear box because I once bought mine for 2600 and that was 2004. The original selling price was 2800 but I was able to bargain. I don’t know about your AC compressor price but my guess it is also fair because as you’ve mention it is a pajero surplus not the replacement.
I'm also one of the patriots from this shop. Though, I usually buy my parts myself.
