Actually they named it Final Fantasy because it was supposed to be Squaresoft's (before sila nakig.merge sa Enix) last game before they were about to close. Luckily the game was a hit and many Final Fantasy sequels were made each installment unique from the other.

True2x... mas nindot dyud katong squaresoft pa sila.

katong ni combine na sila sa enix... well nindot lageg graphics pero nagka anam ka deteriorate ang story og gameplay.

I was not surprised to see FFXIII vanish from the NPD chart so fast. It's what you call a front-loaded opener. In the years to come, FFXIII won't be remembered much by most gamers. What I lost with that games was my time. At least my money was not wasted on it.

This bad game, like what sharkey360 has been pointing out throughout this thread still manages to sell. despite all the bad reviews for not pleasing everyone... over 5.5million copies were sold globally. im sure not all 5.5 million people who has a copy of it is as disappointed as sharkey360. There's at least a few in this thread who enjoys it very much.

its definitely not as good as other titles in the series, but its still a better game than other titles in the market.

FF8 FTW! (personal favorite).

I'd rather play Final Fantasy VI over FFXIII any time.

Now that FFXIII's fad is over, it's time to forget that game and move on. I wonder what could Square-Enix come up next with the inevitable Final Fantasy XV in the years to come. Perhaps they'll make an announcement at the E3.
