Because..goodbye means you will never get to hold him like you used to. You'll never talk to him intimately like you did before. And goodbye could also mean watching him do all the things you used to do together, but now with another girl.

because sometimes, goodbyes means the end of something you don't want to end..

Because when you have something so close to you, you get extremely attached like it's a part of you. So saying goodbye to someone or something so close is like saying goodbye to your heart.
