Yep, We do need one. It's one way of showing how much you really love the girl. It's not about the price of the ring, It's about making her feel special. But if wa gyud budget I think the girl would understand.

Para sa akoa pud it is non-sense, but I know most women live in a fairy tale..for them it is not just a ring but it is a symbol and if my girl is one of them, willing ko hatagan siya one day... in a romantic way.

Yes, If I love the Girl I would give her an engagement ring, mugasto man gani ta ug mga butang para lang malingaw ta kana pa nuon. For me as a guy, nothing compares to the feeling of seeing my girl happy. Priceless!
But if wa gyud budget, I think makasabot ra sad ang girls, Pero kung naay budget then maka afford kaayo ang guy then d gyud muhatag mao nay nonsense for me.
