Do you mean to tell me there's absolutely no imagination and courage present in all employed people? that's still looking down sir.. i'll give you an example, in the advertising industry.. the people there are all employed, yet you look at those great advertisements and shake your head and say awesome ad.. or those employed by fashion industries? don't they have sheer imagination and the courage to out think the other? what makes you think those people lack personal growth? everybody is successful in their own standing. you think those big account execs are wallowing in poverty? i don't think so.. it's good to encourage entrepreneurship, it's just that instead of discouraging people with the way you're saying things, try to encourage them with your success. that's called positive reinforcement. that's what every good entrepreneur/supervisor/manager should know..

nah... maybe just my direct approach kind of personality.. im the frank kind of person.. i dont like to sweet talk much..

mas saun man gud iopen ang eyes sa mga tao kung ma challenge sila.. hehehe

the success of my businesses is due to the efforts and quality of my employees.. they are an extension of myself.. thats why i teach them to be entrepreneurs because sooner or later, im going to make them leaders.. but i have no place in my business for people who lack imagination and initiative..

Don't tell me that's not considered a job.. by employing them i am able to give them the salary they need to provide for their families as well.. it may not be enough, considering the times but do you think they will be able to apply for higher positions? i don't think so... that's my little part as well...
considering what you wrote, i can see that you have other sources of income besides your call center job, correct? or kay murag dako kaau gasto imu household..

thats my point... it is important that they should learn skills and develop personality.. they currently have low self esteem.. thats why we need to empower them.. they cant be dependent on you forever.. by teaching them business, they will open up to a whole new set of perspectives..

another good point about a business is that you solve some of the communities' problems.. a job may solve yours alone but not the others.. a business brings goods and services to communities that dont have access to it before.. therefore it increases the quality of life within the vicinity..

being in business is allows you to serve more people than you can if your just employed..
being in business is very noble.. (except kung ilad2x ra na imuha like UN or illegal drugs)
businessmen are generally more audaciuos, and a lot smarter simply because they need to... or else.. there screwed..

job security para nako is job slavery... i guess the TS thinks so too..
at anytime, the company can fire you if you are seen as unprofitable.. maski pila nka ka years nagwork. the company reserves the right to lay-off or retrench its workers to protect its profit.. kung dili cya para profit, then its not a business-- read it on a book somewhere

Most Filipinoes think that wealthy people are bad because they always watch TV and always made the wealthy people as a bad image. You know what in reality these successful business person are making a self less act in order to build a big business so that it could give livelihood to most people.

These successful business people doesn't complain even if how big is the cost to pay. But compare it to ordinary employee, gamay lang gani ipa trabaho dayon cge bagulbol. Get my point?

    hello im back..hehehh
Thanks to the thread contributors for making this very lively and full of passion.
Just to clarify things, im not mocking down the call center people.
Im very sorry if that hurts a bit.
But just like bro AmorsoloX I also prefer talking directly
And sometimes I do it to help people realize important things.
Playing devil's advocate for a good cause.
Its also my personal point of view.

Im not boasting of my business by mocking the call center industry.
As I said before, I was once in this kind of job.
I know what life is..in there
    Fate lead me to business
I see how business makes me a productive person in the society
Im encouraging you to try this field.
If you don't like it, its up to you

Also what pogy_uy said that we will see each other in Eye_Biz or anywhere
It would be not good if we take it personally
Many people here have already known me & see me personally
Im not that arrogant as what my post may portray. heheh

If you are angry, then be it. Express it here.
If you share the sentiment. Express it here.
Thanks again guys & keep posted.

    PS: To Amorsolo_X & lorenzoleo,
    Keep dreaming guys.
It's my privilege to know people in my generation...
...who have made success stories out of nothing.
See you at the top always.
    God bless us all.

People skills, learn how to negotiate, close a deal and excited are some of the traits of a business person.

My encouragement to those who are in the industry is...
Learn the system on how the call center works...
Learn about marketing to direct clients...
    Learn about legalities...
    Learn about communication flow...
Then BUILD Your Own Call Center Company
In this way you will elevate from a higher point of view.

Others have said, what if we all operate call centers w/o workers?
    Do you think its possible?
If it is, then its ok.
Businessmen never runs out of innovative mind.

But for sure, only a few people...i believe
Would take heed to this call
As you see, only few can see light in the dark.

Bro, that's also what I realized.
    Instead of focusing on employment,
Schools need to empower students to have their own company.
In this way, we are building a more progressive society in the future.

Im planning to get back to school again for the MBA Degree..now that UP is opening the course
Business needs to be incorporated in any course
If you are IT, learn how IT companies are being operated
If you are in Education, learn how to open a montessori school
If you are in Civil Engineering, learn how to be a contractor
Siguro 1 Business subject in every semester until graduation would be best.
If a school like this will open, maski mahal2...
Maninguha jud ko to put my future kids there.

Isn't it a routinary job that numbs out all your other senses?
Isn't it a "garbage" job thats not fitted for people like you?
Fooled by the wrong perception of a good job?

Never tell me it's the only job there is....
Never tell me you don't have any common sense.
Never bound yourself on what you only saw.
You are not a robot. Aren't you?

After all your works..what can you boast about yourself?.....the "twang"?
Its a fake perception of success & high achievement.
    There's no achievement in it.

    THE BUSINESSMAN
    They have the brains working...
They have the courage exercised all the time...
They have the real pride of achievements.
And most of all they have what is called "LIFE"

This is a simple call to encourage them to "get out from their shell"

its not simple because simply its not....
if its purpose is encouragement....then its wrong choice of words..."garbage",'robot", dont think that is encouragement

why do you say there is no achievement on it and its fake perception of success...?
you have your own definition of success bro, it doesnt mean it is also for others...

@cirext....ive seen your previous posts...and its always a delight reading your posts.... you are one of those sensible persons here, unlike others who dont have a stand a.k.a. sakay2 lang...but this time i think this post is off...i know your intentions but i think the method doesnt fit...

@amorsolox... you said ". i dont look down on employed people.. but i look down on people who lack imagination and courage to venture outside..." but i still dont buy looking down on people...why? for what reason? is it enough ground to look down on people?

guyz, you may insist ,you may disagree, or agree...your choice...because these are just my thoughts and i will not insist that you buy my ideas also..

    peace
