Guys, forum members and accredited installers from filsat.com have it in good faith that Cignal will boost its HD channel lineup hopefully by the end of September. This will coincide with the commercials we have been seeing on TV

The channels are:

1. History HD (current)
2. Voom HD (current)
3. Playhouse Disney (enhanced/upscaled, current)

Based on the satellite scans on NSS 11, here are the possible new HD channels:

ESPN HD
HBO HD
Star Movies HD
SET HD
Star Sports

A new transponder has been leased to accommodate the extra bandwidth. Of course these are yet to bee seen but will definitely make the HD lineup much more interesting than the current offering. If you have already shelled so much for an HDTV, it would be tempting to get the Combo or HD package so you can see what your LCD screen is capable of.

Hopefully the SD channels will also get a boost so those with standard TVs can have another option. Currently their lineup is very lean and their strongest channels for me are BTV and HBO.
