I might say, Lapulapu City (Opon) is very lucky in terms of economy co'z the MEPZ and the Airport are situated. Establishments and business firms arise, developments of the city is quitely good.
Opon is the nice place, for me, to stay and live with. Abundant fresh air showers us, nice beaches, resorts and have plenty of fresh seafoods. (kanindot sa Opon ipuyo ah...)
Talking about politics in Opon.... For me, all public officials starting from mayor down to councilors even all barangay officials, they're all S*CKS........
They are the crocodiles assumes to be a good public servant to the people including me as an OPONIAN... The are good and smiling infront of the masses as election approaches. Waving there hands
like a gambler counting bundles of corrupt funds of the people.
All politicians are good only in promising and showing their respective flatforms on how to achieve a better and a well develop government. But sad to say, after elections, where are their flatforms? their aspects of good governance? "Disappear like a Magic" "Itaga nyo nalang sa BATO"...... hahahahaa......
Vote buying is rampant, switching ballots, goons scattered, harassments, etc.. they are good in this kind of strategy. If they lossed they might say "GITIKASAN KO" blah..blah..blah... and if they won they might say "ANG KASINGKASING SA MASA NAGASALIG KANAKO" *hands waving* ... what a F**K......
Speaking of JUNARD "AHONG" CHAN, he's a tough "POLPOL" guy.... GAAYO LANG ANG BAROG WALAY NADA...... maayong hashasan ug hinuktokan ug maayo kung kinsa ang pilion....
No choice but to accept the truth. Accept the reality that All politicians are not as good as what we've wishing for. SMART and a WISE decision making maybe is the solution to come-up a right roster of candidates whom they fill for the good governance in a place especially to my beloved home "LAPULAPU CITY"........

Ths is what politics is all about one should be blamed.I think that politics is so dirty that the politcians try to kill each other for power that the system of Philppine government that we had.I wish that we can go back to a once-sincere-President we had and that was PRES. RAMON MAGSAYSAY,the true MAN OF THE MASSES.Lets just hope.

Fear of losing power corrupts those who wield it and
fear of the scourge of power corrupts those who are subject to it"
