"AWOL" is a term used only for the military.. but HR organizations in the Philippines is using the same term for HR related cases which is suppose to be not applicable. In the US nobody in the HR organization is using "AWOL" if someone will not call in and notify the employer if they don't want to report to work.. they just fire them.

ayaw jud mo anang AWOL, depende na lang kung abusive ang employer... kay most of the time magbackground check nang mga employer, then usually karang mgaHR, halos magkaila ra na sila, even the employers themselves... graceful exit lang gud... bisan pag gadumot...
