they're done w proper lighting but it can be fairly duplicated in photoshop. try photo filters & selective color adjustments to start.

    been busy l8ly
didnt have the time to go online
    sorry.

    i apreciate the feedback people
    thanks for the illustrations
-caranzo's pictures, i think the contrast is perfect but i dont think it there yet. (i think it is a nice pic still)
-with undercover's pic still not coz it made everything orangy and it lacks...vibrancy?saturation?

so that you have a better view of what im trying to say, if youve watched transformers, csi ..etc, then thats what im talkin about.

what i realise is the color of the skin is delicately separated from the other elements of the picture.
i also noticed that it made the blues so blue.

actually gipakita lang nku ang orange nga tone using Gradient Map. kng imo nabantayan dili orange ang mata sa portrait nga ako gipakita meaning naa ko extra step nga gi apply diha nga part which we can also do with the cloth and the background. for the vibrancy and the saturation we can always use the Curve/Levels tool which unfortunately wla nku gigamit ana nga photo. heheh also factor sad ang lighting sa imo base image.

    kini lain updated sample.

kng dili pajud gani kuha try nlang jud experiment sa mga method nga gipang present sa mga taw dri.

    hope this helps

    dunno if this might help.
but you might want to give it a try.

    1. add Hue/Saturation layer and decrease saturation (say -76)
    2. add Color balance layer and play around with the color values for the midtones, hilights and shadows. Might want to increase yellow and magenta for the hilights.
    3. Play around with the opacity of each layer and see which one works for you..
