Nice move for Dallas. But now I can't watch basketball TV with all the Dallas exciting acquisition of Kidd and Phoenix' acquisition of Shaq.
trully Curses goes to sky Cable.
Before I can watch NBA every morning now All I see is the Balls Channel which shows golf all day long.

Tsk, tsk. Phoenix lost in another close game, 120-118 against the Golden State Warriors. Big numbers game by Amare Stoudemire and Grant Hill though, both combined for 55 points and 28 rebounds.

Stoudemire, Hill, Steve Nash, and Leandro Barbosa combined for a total of 99 points with each scoring at least more than 20 points. The Warriors starting line-up finished with a combined total of 108 points led by Monta Ellis' 37.

Ellis is really having a career season with the Warriors.

Anyway, a big help will be on Phoenix's way very, very soon.

    Finals rematch in Cleveland:

    Manu Ginobili -- 46 points, 8 assists, 15/20 FGs, 8/11 3-pt FGs.

**Ginobili scored 18 points and hit 4/4 3 pt shots in the fourth quarter where San Antonio outscored Cleveland 41-30

    LeBron James -- 39 points, 9 assists, 6 rebounds
    Larry Hughes -- 26 points, 11/19 FGs

**Hughes is averaging 33 points in his last two games.

    Jason Kidd trade rumors update

Jason Kidd's transfer to Dallas is on hold because of Devean George. Devean George doesn't want to be a part of the trade because he would give up some of his free agents rights.

We’re not trying to block anything,” agent Mark Bartelstein told the Dallas Morning News. “But just like teams have to make tough decisions, my job is to protect Devean and sometimes we have to make tough decisions. Right now, he feels good about his situation in Dallas."

Even Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is not optimistic about the deal. Jason Kidd didn't play for the Nets against the Raptors.

Mavs forward George blocks trade of Kidd to Mavs
    By Marc Stein
    ESPN.com

The Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant is the only player in the league with a specific no-trade clause in his contract, but league rules dictate that it's a right George also possesses because he's on a one-year contract (worth $2.4 million) and because Dallas would have Early Bird rights to re-sign him this summer.

If such a player is traded, Bird rights are not traded with him. So league rules compensate for this by requiring George's consent in any trade.
