Bowling: PS3 COD4 patch going live this week

Robert Bowling, the Director of Communications and Community Manager for Infinity Ward, has confirmed that Sony is in the final stages of certifying the patch for the PlayStation 3 version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

According to Bowling, the patch will “definitely” be released at some point this week, although an exact date has yet to be revealed. More information on a firm release date is expected shortly.

The Feature Patch is set to include the following content:

- Optimized servers
- New Kill cams (grenades, RPG's, airstrikes, claymores, and more)
- Quick Mute (allows user to mute annoying players by pressing X on their gamertag in the lobby)
- Addition of "Recently Met Players" for the PlayStation Network
- Improvements to the Sniper Rifles and Acog attachments (no more delayed shots)

I'm excited with the ACOG attachment improvements 'coz lately I've been using an M14 w/ ACOG Scope. Its a nice single shot assault rife. The only problem with this is when you are aiming on a moving target. Sometimes it really misses. Its probably on the delay shot issue that will be addressed with the latest patch.

gusto ko mo apil sa inyo mga gubat (COD4), -- unsa may headset inyo gi gamit? , i tried using my BT headset pero dili man magamit sa COD4, or maybe wala lang nako ma set ug tarong,., help...

na pair na nimo sa PS3? naa sa Settings dapit, Bluetooth devices, basta ma pair na ok na na siya, i can even turn on/off my BT headset within any PS3 game that supports chat ok ra hehehe

I-pair sa na nimo sa accessories settings in your xmb. After that, you can turn it on/off whenever you want and the game will recognize it as long as it supports bt voip.
