overrated bro., mao mn cguro nang dako clag rating gbutang sa ila manual or specs amp., but actually d jud ingana iya true output., murag lesser ra xia ana., murag na sobra-an ug rate bah.,mao na akong sabot...

Overrated: Published rating is above the actual rating.
Underrated: Published rating is below the actual rating.

Depende ra man siguro pagsabot kung overrated or underrated imo amp especially kung wala ta basis.

If its CEA-certified, then sakto ra ang rating ana but then CEA certifies amps at 14.4v which is not the ideal voltage of most car electrical systems. Normally naa ra na sa 13.8volts ang ato electricals. So ang actual rating will surely be below the published rating.

In my opinion dili man siguro na overrated ang hifonics. But compared to other amps such as Orion's old skol HCCA, Crossfire, Cactus, Stetsom, DD nga underrated kaayo then murag ma-overrate na lang ang Hifonics. But those mentioned underrated amps are cheater amps mostly used for comps nga unregulated ang power supply and can withstand voltages up to 18 volts.

Just my 2 cents.

Hifonics is a bit overrated. not by much but they are overrated. Even though, Hifonics makes solid products. you can't go wrong with hifonics.
