At this point I think the show created its own license regarding the plot. It has completely deviated from the plot and I would not find it reliable to follow the show according to the comics. Parehas ra sa Episode 8 title "Nebraska"...What if Nebraska ilang sunod nga destination? After pahawa-un na sila ni Herschel? So far in the comics they went from Georgia, Virginia, Washington D.C.--Layo ra kaayo sa direction sa Nebraska. Not taking into considerations sa character developments too. I think the show will take a completely different route than Kirkland's comics, which I think is a good thing, as long as they keep the theme of the comic book.

But they still rely on the BIG PLOTS.
Add some twist and stuff.
About Nebraska, I think they will all move from the Farm. Including Hershel.
Now I'm convinced that Daryl is the replacement of Tyreese. With that Daryl-Carol thing going on.

I just feel sorry for Carl.
He's still the only kid in the show.
When will he meet his playmates?

afaik kirkland is keeping a close eye on the stories for the tv show. if i am not mistaken i think he's one of the consultant. but the creative team of WD TV is always coordinating with kirkland.

anyways, i don't think sophia's character will have a heavy impact on the wd tv's story direction. the way they made the story of sophia created a lot of drama of the other characters and added new dimention i think. it also paved way for other characters to develop as well. somehow the writers have done a pretty good job. can't wait for feb. oh wait.too long.

i have a strong feeling di nana mo tunga si michione. maybe they created the "Daryl" character as a mashup between michione and tyresse. badass people. remember sophia just died in the last episode but in the comics she was still pretty much alive as of chapter 91. maybe they dont want to have too many kids in the series to avoid having to censor much. sakto na guro si carl.

With regards to Michonne in the TV show, Darabont has mentioned that she might be appearing in season 3.
