i personally think that a person who is not ready to commit in a relationship is NOT immature. Even for someone who is at his/her 30s. just because di siya maka commit and ikaw ready for commitment na kaayo ka, immature na siya. just like if 6+3 = 9, well so does 5+4...i mean, not all people think alike. i am so bad in making analogies (ugh!). naa man sad mga taw who are looking for a relationship, for a commitment that will probably last longer than expected, ideally a lifetime. but lisud gyud tingale magka meet ingun ana ug ideals, maybe rare...dahil kasi walang forever! hahaha. just like parallel lines, they will never intersect. #losinghope

Keep looking though, i am sure you're bound to meet someone who you deserve and you to him. Maybe you have a special knack sa kanang bigaon na guys, maybe because most guys na bigaon kay broken inside...and your heart is like a stallion, you love it more when it's broke in.

On the idea of marriage, i agree with @lester_j. i don't really care kung di ko makasal sa simbahan, religious rituals and traditions are essential part of my being but if i can't avail that due to my s3xual orientation then i would rather practice my religion the way i want it to be. i don't need a statue of God and a priest to witness my marriage, i will only need the people who matter to me as the witness of that special day. Also, I bet God is witnessing it too...coz He's watching us. sing it! God is watching us, God is watching us! God is watching us...from a distance!

Not necesarrily or directly known by family, but i guess they knew it dugay na, and never an issue to both sides of the family. We're already 7 years under one roof since nagkaila mi sa akong partner.

I think tungod pud na sa uban nga mga younger attracted to older men. Ego boost ni nila I think, nga naa pa silay appeal even if they're maturing na. That's why tingae i-extend pa nila ilang experiment.
