I beg to differ. These generals you're talking about are Puppets of the current government. They too are being pulled by the strings. There's a difference. Gloria is running the show.

my paradigm is one of optimism. isn't this country riddled with corruption? isn't it a known fact that the military is disillusioned with the leadership? isn't CHANGE what we're all hoping for?

but we are afraid of change. of course, it's a step into the unknown, so we settle for what's familiar.

I think Trillanes is doing his job. He has always been anti-Gloria and pro change.

Can you imagine if all filipinos had a very high tolerance for government corruption?

That's where you are wrong. Filipinos are not afraid of change! That's why People voted for Trillanes' because in our desperation for a better government, we voted for someone who has been branded as a "rebel". Don't you see it? The Filipinos are learning! We Wanted Alternatives! Of course this government sucks but that's what we have for now -- until 2010. Trillanes' ideology is the same as the next ordinary Filipino, the manner he executed it sucks-- big time.

We all want change, who doesn't.
