boss naa ko pangutana... i got a sub... its a 1000watts peak dual voice coil(4ohms i think), so more or less mga 500wrms..
kan a hifonics TXi 6408 680-Watt A/B-Class power my sub?
mao ni specs from the site jud...
4 x 85-Watts RMS @ 4-Ohms
4 x 170-Watts RMS @ 2-Ohms
2 x 340-Watts RMS @ 4-Ohms

or i need more power for my sub? ^_^ suggest mu mga dudes.. dont want to create mistakes in chosing my amp for my sub... i need my sub atleast 100% powered para sulit... ^_^

oh yah to those peeps that know me.. yup, this is the same sub still.. i like my sub and my box.. and now i need some amps to power my lil setup....

oh yah.. our million dollar question is...
kan a focal k3 polykevlar match the sound of my sub... well i will soon find out...

you can probably find in in SM. last time i looked it was about 450/meter. just look at the pics of the VW i posted. that was done in suede.

@chuck, mahal2x jud pero sulit siguro jud ni. nindot man gani ang suede na jacket kung ting tugnaw... suede could be found also didto sa colon sa mga cloth stores or furniture supply shops.

@ryn, if 1000w peak 4ohm dvc, then you could either hook it up parallel at 2 ohms or series at 8 ohms. you need an amp at least 500w at 2ohms.

kanang txi6408 is a type A/B amp and overrrated as they say.

@ryn: kumusta bro? for subs, i'd go with a sub that is class d and has an unregulated power supply. we all know class d amps are more efficient compared to class a/b amps; your car's electrical system won't be as hard-pressed for power. your sub is 500w dvc 4ohms (each vc is 4ohms) so you need an amp that can push at least 250w x 2 at 4ohms (1 vc per channel), or at least 500w into 1 channel at 2ohms (2 vcs in parallel). lisod mangita ug amp that will push 500w at 8ohms (2 vcs in series) c",)

btw, many will claim class a/b amps have better sound than class d amps... but imho, this won't be very significant when amplifying low frequencies... kung front speakers, yes i agree but for subs, the difference is negligible.
