no hard and fast rule... everything is according to your agreement with the sire owner. usual though is 1 pup first pick sa sire owner.

Philippine Canine Club, Inc. (PCCI) registration only caters to "pedigree breeds". Pedigree means it already has a long ancestry lineage. In your case, you can develop your crossbreed into a breed on its own but that will take a very long time (minimum of at least 15 to 20 years). You'll have to secure the sire (if that's the sire you wish to define your entire lineage from). I actually inquired from PCCI and to date, they don't have that option yet to register or recognize a new breed. I also have a mix-breed myself and I wanted to give her some kind of registration certificate. They only register those that already are AKC (American Kennel Club) recognized breeds (at least). To date, there are several new breeds recognized by AKC but I'm not sure if PCCI are ready to recognize them already.

What I can suggest is if you want to track its lineage, you register it as a Designer Breed. Do note the history of this cross-breed. Take a photo of its dam and sire for your records. You can always register it with Designer Canine Registry Designer Breeds / Hybrid Dog Registration and Pedigree Services - International Designer Canine Registry.

    Hope this helps!

It's very easy if your dam and sire have PCCI papers. Ask for a photocopy of the DAM & SIRE's PCCI, and Litter Registration, pay the PCCI membership (600++ for 2 years membership), registration (308 pesos) and supplemental transfer (46 pesos) fees. If the PCCI of the Dam & Sire are NOT registered under the name of the current owner, you will have to ask them to have the registration of the DAM & SIRE transferred under their name. They will each need to pay the membership fee and supplemental transfer of registration. PCCI will do their due diligence and contact the owners of the Dam and Sire, and will probably require them to send pictures of the entire litter with the dam. They will have to pay the litter registration (185 regardless of litter size).

If both dam & sire do not have PCCI on hand, you can ask the owner of the DAM & SIRE to track the owner of their dogs and ask if they can still track their PCCI. Same process as stated above. Even a litter registration can work - better than nothing. Supposing all you have is a litter registration, send that along with a supplemental transfer. You have to be a PCCI member in order for you to process the papers. If in any case, either dam and sire has PCCI but was lost, all you need to do is get their registered name, location/address as indicated in their PCCI registration, get an affidavit, etc. Call PCCI (027217152/7218345) - they can assist you provided that their PCCI records are traceable.

Thnks n advance..
For travel of non-pedigreed dogs, PCCI papers are not a requirement at all. The most important requirement is their health cards, certificate from your vet certifying a clean bill of health from Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), quarantine records (dog/s will need to be quarantined), etc. You will have to discuss with the airline what their requirements are. I imagine it will be very costly. Oh, don't forget to check with the US travel requirements for travel with live animals.

It depends - is the sire of good quality? is your dog's breed already established? There are dog breeds that do not allow in breeding anymore but if you are developing a new breed, you definitely MUST breed it back to the sire. The most consistent would be a minimum of 3 cycles. The 4th female from the 3rd cycle will be bred with a male outside of the line. The female from the 4th cycle will be breed back to the original sire. I think that's the minimum. There are others who will disagree that the line may not be stable yet and may need additional cycle.
