Close game at the Staples Center: Cleveland 50, Los Angeles Lakers 49 (Halftime)

    Head to head match-up: LeBron James (10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 1 block, 3 turnovers, 4/11 FGs), Kobe Bryant (5 points, 3 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, 3 turnovers, 2/5 FGs)

Those numbers are expected to get better in the second half. LeBron virtually did everything while Bryant got his teammates more involved more in the first half.

about ni Stephon Marbury, it was mentioned gi-consult pa daw sa Celtics management ang Big 3.. then OK ra daw nila kuhaon si Marbury. (pra cguro naa silay ma-blame kung di cla ma-champion this year..)

Rudy Fernandez is the 4th dunker!

Portland's Fernandez has yet to show off 'specialty' dunks

The history books will show that the gold medal for basketball at the 2008 Olympics was won by the U.S. Men's Senior National Team. But the YouTube champ from Beijing was Spain's Rudy Fernandez, who threw down a vicious one-handed tomahawk on Dwight Howard in the second half of the gold medal game.

Fernandez will get a second shot at Howard during NBA All-Star Saturday Night Feb. 14, at US Airways Center (8 p.m. ET on TNT) in Phoenix. For the first time ever, the NBA allowed fans to participate in naming the Sprite Slam Dunk field. And with 251,868 votes in the online balloting, Portland's Fernandez edged Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook (147,279) and Milwaukee's Joe Alexander (114,963) as the rookie representative. -NBA.com

Orlando is the new number 1 team in the standings right now

    Orlando: 33-8 (0.805)
    LA Lakers: 32-8 (0.800)
    Cleveland: 31-8 (0.795)
    Boston: 32-9 (0.791)
    San Antonio: 27-13 (0.675)

Los Angeles, Cleveland, and Boston are all making noise in this forum and almost everywhere but Orlando is doing it's job quietly and very efficiently. No wonder Dwight Howard leads voting for the All-Star game.
