@flame alchemist.. i remember PUKAW(Progressive Union of Kreative Artists and Workers) posted some posters at USC-TC 4 years back to advertise a week's work of seminars in filmmaking and such... they even produced a short series(a la Ghostfighter, w/ special FX) on the local ABS-CBN station.. the founder is a guy who worked closely with a Malaysian TV network

The Inyorai Bidyo Festival is an intercollegiate video competition
brought to you by the wonderful people at the UP Cinema As Art
Movement based in the UP College of Fine Arts.

There are four categories: short feature, documentary, animation and
experimental.

P10,000 will be given to each of the four winners. Deadline for
submission of entries is from January 23 to 28, 2006 at the UP
College of Fine Arts, UP Diliman.

Cinema as Art Movement

Tambayan ng mga estudyante, dating estudyante, mahihilig sa
pelikula, at mga nagbabalak maging filmmaker balang araw, mapa-indie
man, underground o mainstream. Tambayan din ito ng mga alternatibong
filmmaker, mga nasa industriya at akademyang nagsusulong sa
makahulugang paglikha ng pelikula.

Ito ngayon ang malawakang pugad ng Pelikula bilang Makapangyarihang
Midyum ng Sining o sa mas kilala bilang Cinema as Art Movement.

anybody want to co-produce a short horror feature.. and by co-produce I mean by having a beachside property then letting me and the crew shoot film there for free? If so please PM me so that we could set arrangements for scouting--
