ROPING THE ROPE

Suck your coffee with a straw
Duck the bullets of the law
Save the frayed ends of a string
Dine with oysters for a fling

Knead my knuckles with a rope
F*** the critics with some hope
Mash the pink flesh of a breast
Let me in I'm a worthy guest

Hoping is hopeless
Coping is shameless
Doping is blameless
I'm just roping the rope.

Carve the candles with some light
Kill the cactus thorns with sight
Spank the red cheeks of despair
Pretend you do it like you care

Bring this solace to an end
I walk the road destined to bend
Beyond my sight I only hear
The creaky creepings of my fear

Hoping is hopeless
Coping is shameless
Doping is blameless
I'm just roping the rope.

the distant winds spoke to me
in sweetest melody unheard of
the marble walls of parthenon shook
music, beautiful beyond any language

i sat unmoved on the hard earth,
my katana anxiously waits with me
for the gods have long before prophesied
this meeting of the two warriors.

often i thought we are twin stars
from another time, another universe
we are conquerors of the sun
and the moon is under our feet.

if friendship was like fire
ours will have flames that ever will burn
that even in each other's absence,
the coldest night can never touch you nor me.

now the waves are calling out to us
soon, we will race to the shores together
or apart. either way, i will not lament
our souls are intertwined.

i have nothing to offer but a genuine love
hoping to last forever... that's all i have
but since you seek for what i have none
then my feet shall perish, walk away and be gone

i firmly wish a day would come
that i can show you a world, i'm sure... oh damn
until then i'll just have to watch you from afar
distance so big, so vast as the star

i wish i could somehow make your day
impossible it may seem in every way
i wish to see a smile on your face
and be contented with the rest of my days

but by then i know you'll have someone better
someone so good, so lovable and clever
so with a heavy heart i'll give a sigh
and a tearful dream until i die

what fallacy
it ended in sorrow
the princess and me

tears fell, heartbeats stopped
the prince kissed the princess
such thoughts...
hopeless romantics

they were meant forever

perpetual blindness

MY PAIN...

This is my fuel for the future,
the root and foundation of a structure.
I think you know what I'm talking about, dude,
it is my "Kingdom of Solitude".

This is MY PAIN, I think you know it,
but I don't know why you have to insist,
this deed you did in the past my Dear,
to slap me with a burden that I can't bear?

This burden that you gifted me,
I'll carry it like a battle scar.
To remind myself, come what may,
I've love and lost, but still love from afar.

It is a lesson that I've learned,
don't love too much 'cause it's messy.
To not forget to love yourself in return,
or you'll end up in misery.
