Take a look at the bright side (at least for Archer and Nugs fans), they were able to keep the core together. The Nuggets re-signed The Birdman using the full MLE or mid-level exception.

However, the Nuggets still have the traded player exception or TPE from the ff:

$2,153,760 (Chucky Atkins – 1/7/10)
$8,800,000 (Allen Iverson – 11/3/09) (some was used to acquire Arron Afflalo)
$711,517 (Cheikh Samb – 1/5/10)
$3,696,000 (Steven Hunter – 8/7/10)

So, the Nuggets have locked 10 players under contract and needs three more to fill the roster to 13 players.

Okay ra na oi. Your team needs a 3rd string PG anyway and considering sad na maglisud ug sign ug mahal2x na player ang Denver, Anthony Carter should bring depth to the lineup at a one-year rental. Ty Lawson should be able to beat Carter for minutes earned behind Billups. Eventually, Lawson should earn experience in the process and should be capable of producing good numbers next next season.
