hi, is diecast a brad.. sorry for my ignoranance, but i like to start my collection and I need advices how to start a collection, like unsaon pag detect if original or conterfeit ang product na paliton.

i want all original collection , para design2x sa akong mga room dre sa akong house ... wala man gud dseign kaayo.

what do you exactly mean by authentic? you mean the exact design of the car?

IMO, these are the things you need to consider when you want to start this hobby.

1. Budget - you have to consider that as you get addicted into this hobby, your budget will be blown out of proportion. Im not trying to scare you, just trying to prepare you so wont have any regrets later on. Price range is from P50 to P30k, depending on which model/brand your looking for. A really good manufacturer you can go for is AutoArt and Kyosho.

2. Size and Space - how big do you want your cars to be and how big is the space you want to fill up. Sizes can range from a 1:64 scale which is your hotwheels and matchbox cars you see in the department store, 1:24, 1:32, 1:38, 1:18, 1:12. More famous among serious collectors are the 1:18 scale cars. More detail and articulation. If your looking into getting the same features of the car displayed in your diecast model, go for 1:18. You can get a 1:18 scale for at least 1.5k

3. Mixed Collection - This is where it gets tricky. Ask yourself if you want your collection to be based on one car model, or just have a mixed up collection of a lot of cars. Most hobbyists now, considering the budget constraint, go for a "single line" or just having a single model. i.e. collecting only VW bugs or batmobiles. Personally, my collection is mainly Ford Mustangs and its souped up sister Shelby Mustangs. I collected these because way back there wasnt a lot in the market and I didnt have the budget to go all out.

4. Where to buy - check the forums. You can start here. there are some collectors that sell their collections for a way better price than the stores. You can also try logging on to DCPH. Its a manila based collector forum and you can get some good finds there. If your left with the stores only, canvass first and always remember, impulse buying is your enemy in this hobby.

Yea our mechanic was testing the brakes on it.

Hope your aunt is doing okay. Ang mga raok kay naa ni rai. Theres another hummer there you might be interested in it.

i suggest bro dat u start with a specific model collection lng sa, para tipid pd sa budget bah. u can choose from small to large scale diecast cars. kng sa small ka less ang budget dn dghan ka brands mapilian pero kng large scale ka medyo gmay ra dnhi sa ato gd, nindot ang details pero mahal ng nuon.

kng daghan ka budget pwede au nimo dunganon pd ang tanan scales wid different models. hehehe

sad to say, gipang baligya sa akong brother all my die cast car collections... more than 20 items i wanna cry..................................
