suggestion for the SFI next year..

daghan ni complain about sa mga noobs ni swarm sa queen... samok bitaw.. especially kung nag huwat ka sa sakto na pwesto (kanang layo2x gmaya para ka sayaw ug tarong) i.breif ang tig bantay sa contingent( i'm sure naa man gud nah) then if feel nila ni samok ang photog.. tagan ug warning.. then if nag pa badlong na pud.. bawi.on ang id then i.post sa media na mao ni ang photographer na disqualified kay wai batasan.. of course if naai dispute you can talk to a marshal assigned in areas..

this way di na mo mag gasto ug extra para mag badlong sa mga noob

so example.. swarm.. kana nga groupo gi badlong nah (picturan for evidence)... swarm ra gahapon.. (picturan again) then bawi.on ang ID no question asked then get kicked out... if mo complain sila naa man evidence na gi badlong gahi ug ulo..

based on my observation yesterday at least about 50% of those who registered are not there to join the photo contest. They registered so that they get the privilege to get into the parade route and get a better view of the sinulog and of course picture picture sad. I saw some using celphones to take pictures hunahunaa kuno kung pang contest ba na! This was the fear i had before when they increased the number of IDs printed.

i would like to take back my words in one of my replies here a few weeks or so ago. Based on yesterdays experience, DILI ENOUGH ang pag increase sa fee para ma control ang moapil sa photo contest kay daghan nga dili photgraphers maka afford para lang maka solod sa parade route. There should be some way to screen the photo contest participants. SFI has about a year to study this and the different photographers club should actively participate if we want to improve on this matter.

let us also take into consideration the other tourist spectators who are there to watch the parade. Daghan kaayo nag reklamo nga ang ila makit-an poro nalang canon t-shirt dili na ang sinulog participants.
