    Did you bother to consult any Catholic sources on how they spelled the 10 commandments, and not from any anti Catholic sources?

    Remember that the Bible was not numbered as we know it today, much less the 10 Commandments. Catholics and Protestants "clustered" the verses according to how they relate to each other as they understand it. Mao na we have a difference in the numbering.

    REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBERING, CHRISTIANS ARE STILL BOUND TO FOLLOW THE "ENTIRE" DECALOGUE.

    Di na ko mag elaborate, but click this helpful link:

    Explanation of the Ten Commandments
    Protestant? The reference I gave you was all about the Bible versus the RCC commandements studied by a self funded ministry. Hence, there was no protestant teaching or whatsoever involved in it.

    Allow me to quote what you have said:

    But, what did God say?
    Deuteronomy 4:2
    Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.

    Notice the bold and underline word. KEEP

    As early as the 3rd Century A.D., various Christian scholars, church leaders and denominations, differed in how they broke down the commandments by number.

    "Bottom line:

    • The original Hebrew doesn't help. The commandments are NOT NUMBERED in the manuscripts, and thus, the verses are not numbered 1-10 in most Bible translations. Rather, the organization of the verses into "ten" commandments was left up to scholars and churches.

    • chapter and verse numbering in the Bible came about in the Middle Ages through the Catholic Church

    • the Catholic Church has TWO different numbering systems for the Commandments given, with Eastern Catholics (in full communion with the Pope) has the same enumeration with protestants and the Pope did not find any trouble with it;

    • the Latin Church's numbering is the most common in the Catholic Church and is the one referred to by Protestants who, ignoring Eastern Catholic Churches, accuse the Catholic Church of having dropped a Commandment;

    • no Commandment has been dropped, in any case, but the Latin Church's shorthand for the Commandments looks different than the typical Protestant version because of how the Commandments are grouped;

    • everyone knows how to find Exodus 20 in the Bible, anyway; "

    Stop with that nonsense legalism and unhealthy obsession with numbers, brother.

    " For us Catholics, we don't care how they are grouped together;
    we only care that they are understood and obeyed. "

    Please don't get me wrong. I am not an anti-RC. As mentioned, there's no perfect religion. I'm still searching for the truth.

    I replied to the previous forumer and agreed with him to focus on the Bible as reference. Can you do the same thing?

    You did not respond to this yet.

    Now, give me a bible verse that can dispute the above quote.

    As a Catholic, our faith rests on the three-legged stool of Christian authority:

    Bible as reference? YES.
    Sacred Tradition as reference? YES.
    Magisterium as reference? YES.

    All three must be necessarily in harmony on order to uphold the teaching of the Church.

    Since the Catholic Church in its magisterial influence DID NOT add nor subtract anything from God's Commandment, then it has rightfully fulfilled this commandment.

    Why don't you stop searching and instead create your own religion?
