excuse me but i really don't like the way you call those concerned students as TRAIDOR!
kung ikaw makakita ka ug dautan ug imo isumbong sa authorities, TRAIDOR na ako itawag nimo? mas maayo pa diay ang mga studyante nimo kay kamao pa motan-aw ug sayop ug unsay dli..the pics they saw on fb was "disturbing" to them, wala ta ka kita pero naay na-offend sa pics..and they had to forward these to proper authorities (in this case, the school) for proper disposition
Luoy sad baya siya ui. She/they will live with the guilt for being the cause of STC's tarnished reputation and the traumatic experience that the 5 girls were subjected to. I'm not saying na sayop sad nga nisumbong ang students. Kung tan-awn nimo, morally correct man siya pero naa man sad gud nay such thing as weighing the pros and cons. If the action will do more harm to others, then she/they should have reconsidered her/their actions. Pero basin para nila, it was about time na pud na the 5 girls realize their mistakes pud mao na ila na lang gi take up to the admin ang pics.
But then, wa nata'y mahimo kay nahitabo na man. Let's all hope for the best na lang.

STC students barred from grad rites attract comments online
THE case involving St. Theresa’s College (STC) and the high school student, who was barred from her graduation march because of photos on Facebook showing her in a swimsuit and holding a cigarette, sparked a debate in online discussion boards.
A news article about STC getting sued by the student’s parent, posted under politics and current events in Istorya.net, a Cebuano online community, had more than 12,400 views and nearly 500 comments. The comments tackled parental issues, schools run by “strict” religious orders, teenage behavior and defying court orders.
Most of the posts expressed a desire to see the photos of the high school student purportedly so they could form a better opinion of the issue.
Some online users were appalled by the actions of the school, calling it an invasion of the girl’s privacy. Others said the incident served as a warning to high school students who break the policies of their schools.
Four other students were also barred from the graduation rites yesterday.
Some rose to the defense of the school administration.
A member of Istorya.net, known as 7DMM, said both sides are at fault for letting the issue reach “disastrous proportions.”
A member, who claimed to be a teacher, said nobody can prevent the children’s actions outside the school premises.
Another member commented that students have become liberated so school officials should update their policies.
Personal
“Faith is up to a person. Church is just a place to pray,” said Jcgoyong, another forum participant.
There were members who proposed strict enforcement of the ban on selling cigarettes to minors.
On Twitter, expressions of support for STC officials were numerous. A common view: students were well aware of the rules and should face the consequences for breaking them.
Aside from the student whose photos appeared on Facebook, STC also barred the daughter of Cebu City Councilor Jose Daluz III.
The school defied a court order that granted the petition of girls’ parents, for their children to be allowed to join the graduation rites yesterday.
The girls who could not enter the school’s premises went to a nearby hotel and were overheard by Sun.Star Cebu talking about being criticized online.
In a report over TV Patrol’s Central Visayas, a parent of one of the girls said the incident pushed her child to write a suicide note.
Grabe ang damage among nakuha ani. Among ubang anak nabiyaan (A lot of damage has been done. Our other children have been neglected),” she said.
The parent said the school should have allowed the girls to join the graduation march for humanitarian reasons.
Lawyer Romeo Balili, STC counsel, said the school cannot be held liable.
“A student’s behavior boils down to the (values) formation (they received from) their parents,” he said.
sikat ang storya ani......
Kataas na backread, over 40 pages man since yesterday daghan gihapon wa kasabot sa issue lmao so patheticdapat mag strict pud ang istorya.net, tanan di kabawo mo backread or people gamay IQ di na pa post sa Pol section
auto mute... FYI reading is fundamental. The issue is not just the "bikinis" get the fact straight. But its intriguing pud on why STC defied the TRO but we dont know the real score, even the sec of justice defies the SC TRO what more if an institution defies an RTC TRO. In any way people will be watching the news next week.
BTW words from my friend says foreign nuns runs the school if so I wont be surprised if they were that strict. anyone can clarify it.
hala oi, ngano ang nagsumbong sa school naman pud? in fairness sa iyaha, sakto ra jud iya gibuhat. she just called the attention of the proper authorities kay naa cya nakit-an nga dli sakto ug dli uyon sa gitudlo sa skwelahan.
I think lang ha, if the two parties had reached a 'settlement' = grade C, can graduate but no graduation rites, tapos Party A decides to backhand/back-stab Party B with filing a case against them for their settlement, then Party B should have the option of defying their settlement too. Party B could go a) expulsion, b) grade D = failing marks c) file a counter-case against Party A, etc. etc.
Og, Sunstar staff lurking, magpagawas mo og exclusive interviews of the girls and their parents?
disturbing is a point of view as well as being lewd... if disturbing para ninyo or lewd ayaw mog tan aw kay dli tanan disturbing para nimo disturbing nasad para namo... and in this case we have to weight the possible things that will happen if we brought it to the attention of the administration. if it brings in more trouble its better to keep it to yourself.... this is the same with "white lie".
@shebacs
sakto jud na! kung wala lang jud gipasaka sa korte kay naka-agree naman diay ang both parties, dli unta ingon ani ka samok.. na-hurt lang cguro ang pride sa parents mao na ila gipadako
